An employee of Smolenskenergo received a state award

By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 455 of 06.08.2021, Alexander P. Antipenkov, Chief of the Rudnyansky Distribution Zone of the Smolenskenergo branch of Rosseti Centre, PJSC was awarded the honorary title “Honoured Power Engineer of the Russian Federation” for merits in the field of energy and many years of conscientious work. The award was presented to the honoured power engineer by Governor of the Smolensk Region Alexey Ostrovsky.

The total length of work of Alexander Antipenkov in the electric power industry is 44 years. Having come back in 1977 as an electrician on duty at the Rudnyansky Distribution Zone, the power engineer remains faithful to his area to this day. Having proved himself to be a proactive and technically competent specialist, in 1978 he was appointed the foreman of the production section. In 1983, Alexander became Deputy Chief of the Distribution Zone, and in September 2010 he was appointed Chief Engineer.

For 11 years he has been the head of the Rudnyansky Distribution Zone. During his work, the technical condition of the district’s electrical grids significantly improved, the number of equipment failures decreased, and production discipline increased.

For his great personal contribution and long-term work for the benefit of the energy sector of the Smolensk region, Alexander in 1982 entered the Board of Honour of the branch, later was awarded with certificates of honour from Smolenskenergo, a commendation and a certificate of honour of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, has the title of honour “Veteran of IDGC of Centre, OJSC”

They not only perform their duties at a decent level, but also willingly pass on their experience to young specialists, thereby helping in the formation of high standards in relation to the work of a new generation of power engineers,” stressed General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region Igor Makovskiy.
