On 9 December, at the site of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC the Day of the Kostromaenergo branch was held, during which the company’s General Director Igor Makovskiy discussed the issues of reliable operation and development of the power grid infrastructure of the Kostroma region. Today the branch provides reliable power supply to the entire Kostroma region, where more than 600 thousand people live. The enterprise’s service area includes 165 substations of 35-110 kV with a total capacity of 1.8 thousand megavolt amperes, 6,497 transformer substations of 0.4/6/10 kV, more than 24 thousand kilometres of power lines.
The branch’s management discussed key achievements, production plans and future projects with specialized Deputy General Directors. Continuing the Branch Day, the head of the energy companies held a meeting to consider the comprehensive development program for Kostromaenergo for the period of 2022-2024.
The participation of Kostromaenergo in the life of the region and its capital is not limited only by the framework of production activities and the provision of reliable power supply. One of the brightest projects of the branch was the tricolour lighting of poles of 110 kV high-voltage power transmission lines, each 60 metres high, located at the crossing over the Volga River. This panorama is now a favourite place for photo sessions of Kostroma residents and guests of the city.
This year, power engineers signed more than 200 contracts for outdoor lighting in different districts of the Kostroma region, implemented a project to illuminate the reconstructed Kremlin in the heart of Kostroma. For the New Year, they presented the townspeople with festive illumination, installed LED art objects in squares and parks of the regional centre, and decorated the city Christmas trees.
“Personal meetings with management of branches of Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC are a necessary tool for building a constructive dialogue. In such communication, I always focus on the main task of our company - to provide consumers with reliable and high-quality power supply. In the Kostroma region, in addition, we actively develop the direction of additional services, making the life of inhabitants of the region more comfortable and safer,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
