Igor Makovskiy: the consolidation of the power grid complex is carried out in the interests of end consumers

21 October 2021

During a working trip, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region visited production facilities of Lipetsk City Electric Grids, where he met with the team.

As a reminder, on 1 October 2021, the Lipetskenergo branch took over the management of electric grids of the city of Lipetsk, which were previously part of JSC Lipetsk City Energy Company.

Lipetskenergo’s service area includes more than 500 thousand people, 2,830 km of 0.4-10 kV power lines, including more than 700 km of cable lines, 882 transformer substations and distribution points. All facilities will be subject to the unified technical standards of PJSC Rosseti. More than 340 employees of the consolidated company were hired at Lipetskenergo, where an effective system of material incentives for personnel and high principles of social protection are in place.

In the autumn-winter period, the resources of the merged company will make it possible to quickly cope with possible faults in the power grids, as well as reduce the time to restore power supply.

“The consolidation of the power grid complex is carried out in the interests of end consumers. We carry out this work systematically. The implementation of unified principles of operational and technological management, as well as unified requirements of technical and operational policy will allow, in a shorter time, to ensure the fulfillment of applications for connection to the grids of new facilities, to quickly eliminate technological violations, and, as a result, to improve the quality of power supply to residents,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
