Igor Makovskiy instructed to strengthen control over the implementation of the target reliability program of the Tverenergo branch

General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, within the framework of a targeted meeting on the financial and economic activities of the Tverenergo branch, heard reports on measures to improve the reliability of power supply to consumers in the Tver region.

Since September 2018, a large-scale set of measures has been implemented in the region to bring grids of all voltage classes to the standard state: diagnostics and repairs of equipment, reconstruction of grids are carried out on a regular basis, clearing of routes and felling of trees threatening to fall on power lines is under special control.

“Today our main task is to minimize the risks of power outages in the Tver region. This can be achieved due to the simultaneous work in two directions at once - prompt response to emergency situations and implementation of long-term programs for modernization of the grid complex. It is also necessary to strengthen interaction with heads of regional administrations, to take their opinion into account when forming the production programs of the branch,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
