Rosseti Centre supplied power to a large agricultural enterprise in the Tambov region

The branch “Rosseti Centre Tambovenergo”* supplied power to “Tambov Bacon”, a large agricultural enterprise in the Tambov region, which is part of the “Rusagro” group. Power engineers carried out work on grid connection of a freon unit in Tambovsky district with a capacity of 2.8 MW and a voltage of 10 kV.

Rusagro takes the 4th place among pork producers in Russia. Production efficiency is achieved through the use of its own feed base and synergies with the grain business. Pig-breeding complexes of “Tambov Bacon” work according to world standards and use the latest achievements of science and technology in pig-breeding and feeding. The production sites of the meat business line of the Rusagro Group of Companies are modern environmentally friendly livestock farms with a high level of automation.

“The agro-industrial complex is the basic sector of the economy for many regions of our activity. Therefore, we pay the most serious attention to the issues of power supply to their enterprises. By ensuring timely and complete power delivery to agricultural facilities, we contribute to the socio-economic development of the territories of the Central and Volga Federal Districts,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
