The event was also attended by Deputy Director of the Department for Operational Control and Management in the Electric Power Industry of the Ministry of Energy of Russia Elena Medvedeva, General Director of JSC “PKK Milandr” Mikhail Pavlyuk, Deputy General Director of JSC “Concern Avtomatika” Maxim Chervyatkin, General Director of CJSC “GC “Tavrida Electric” Vladimir Chernyshev, Technical Director of JSC “VO Electroapparat” Mikhail Pakhomov and others. The moderator of the roundtable was Deputy Director General - Chief Engineer of PJSC ROSSETI Andrey Mayorov.
In his speech, General Director of IDGC of Centre Igor Makovskiy spoke about the practical experience in the implementation of 110 kV digital substations. He noted that the key requirement for digital substations in solving problems of monitoring, analysis and management is the ability to exchange information between all devices in digital form.
The head of IDGC of Centre dwelt in more detail on the main trends in the development of secondary devices of digital substations. The main ones are: proximity of analog-digital converters to signal and measurement sources; combination of several functions in one device: metering, power quality control, relay protection and automation, remote controller, fault recorder; increase in the share of network equipment: switches, routers, etc.
In conclusion, Igor Makovskiy focused the audience’s attention on critical elements for the development of digital substations. Among such elements are network equipment and internal software; automated equipment monitoring and diagnostic data storage systems, equipment testing centres.
