General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy continues his working trips to regions of the company’s service area. On Saturday, 24 November, the head of the company worked in the Kostroma region, where he checked the operation of the power grid complex and separate production units of the branch “Kostromaenergo”.
During his trip to Nerekhtsky Distribution Zone, Igor Makovskiy inspected the work of a number of power grid facilities. In particular, the 110 kV substation “Nerekhta”, where he was presented with a reconstruction plan to be held at this power centre in the coming years. Igor Makovskiy noted that it is necessary to consider the possibility of reducing the time of reconstruction of the substation with its transfer to digital technology. As a result, the quality of electricity supply to residents of Nerekhta and Nerekhtsky district, 30 socially significant facilities, Nerekhtsky Mechanical Plant, which produces parts for domestic cars, and a number of enterprises of the agro-industrial complex will be improved.
Igor Makovskiy also visited Volgorechensky Distribution Zone, on the basis of which he conducted an emergency response control training of Kostromaenergo’s personnel. During the training, the crisis management centre gathered under the chairmanship of the head of the company.
In the executive office General Director checked the work of Kostromaenergo’s Customer Service Centre and familiarized himself with the work of operators and the operational and technological group of the Grid Control Centre.
The next point of the visit of Igor Makovskiy was the Museum of the History of Kostroma Energy. Here he was told about the formation and development of the power grid complex in the region, he was introduced to the main directions of social and personnel policy of the Kostroma branch of IDGC of Centre and with projects of vocational guidance cooperation with relevant educational institutions.
Following the results of the working visit, Igor Makovskiy held an extended meeting with the management of the branch “Kostromaenergo” and chiefs of Distribution Zones. One of the main issues was discussion of production programs aimed at providing high-quality and reliable power supply to customers of the Kostroma region, optimizing losses and reducing the failure rate of individual Distribution Zones. The head of the company noted that the regional power grid complex has a good potential for development. Considering the tasks facing Kostromaenergo, Igor Makovskiy identified the construction of grids on a digital basis as key priorities, improving the manageability of grid infrastructure facilities and the reliability of operation of overhead power lines.
