IDGC of Centre by the beginning of the school year connected new educational institutions to the grid and provided additional capacity to existing schools

Specialists of IDGC of Centre connected new schools and kindergartens in a number of regions of the company’s activity by the beginning of the new school year and reconstructed facilities of the power grid infrastructure to increase the capacity of existing educational institutions.

In the Belgorod region, the energy company completed the grid connection of a new school building for 500 pupils in the micro-district "New-2" of the regional centre. To do this, they installed a two-transformer package transformer substation and laid several cable lines. In addition, two reconstructed general education schools in the towns of Alekseevka and Novy Oskol were provided with additional capacity. In Novy Oskol, in particular, a new package transformer substation and power lines were constructed for this purpose.

In the Lipetsk region, IDGC of Centre’s specialists connected to the grid secondary school No. 12 in the town of Gryazi for 550 pupils, having constructed a new cable line for this purpose, and also reconstructed the 0.4 kV overhead line and re-equipped the package transformer substation in the village of Lukyanovka in Stanovlyansky district, providing power supply to the school and kindergarten.

Power engineers of the branch "Smolenskenergo" for the new school year to provide power supply for new infrastructure facilities for the boarding school for gifted children "Phoenix" in Novoduginsky district constructed a transformer substation with a capacity of 400 kVA and a cable power line. And the Yaroslavl branch of the company completed the grid connection of a kindergarten for 220 children in the city of Uglich.

A number of projects will be completed in the near future. So, in Belgorod in the micro-district "Sputnik" the energy company is completing the grid connection of the primary school for 150 pupils, combined with the same in capacity kindergarten. And in the Tavrovo-10 micro-district of Belgorodsky district work on the grid connection of a new kindergarten combined with an elementary school is being completed. With their commissioning, the aggregate power consumption of educational facilities, which specialists of the branch "Belgorodenergo" have connected to the grid by this autumn, will be 1.1 MW.
