Hotline of power engineering specialists:
A joint meeting of specialists of IT-units of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region took place in Bryansk, where representatives of all 20 branches of the companies took part in. They discussed the results of activities for 2017 and clarified the plans for organization and development of information technologies for the future in IDGC of Centre and IDGC of the Centre and Volga Region.
They talked, in particular, about optimization of the IT infrastructure, operation and development of telecommunications systems and automated systems for dispatch and technological control, digitalization of grids. Participants of the meeting exchanged experience and shared the best practices in this area. Particular attention was paid to ensuring information security and minimizing risks associated with the use of modern information technologies. As it was mentioned, successful implementation of all the specified measures will allow to reach a qualitatively new level in the field of reliability, availability, efficiency of the power grid complex.
"Such meetings are very important, in the course of their holding issues are resolved that allow in practice to improve the effectiveness of existing solutions in the field of information technologies and consider innovations offered by both foreign and domestic developers," says Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division director Alexander Kosarim.
