Head of IDGC of Centre Oleg Isaev and Head of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Brechalov signed a road map in the sphere of development of the power grid complex of the republic

15 February, within the framework of the Russian Investment Forum RIF-2018, an agreement was signed on cooperation between the Government of the Udmurt Republic and IDGC of Centre. Head of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Brechalov and General Director of IDGC of Centre, the managing company of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, Oleg Isaev, signed the document.

The purpose of the roadmap is mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties in ensuring the sustainable development of the power grid complex in the Udmurt Republic and the organization of the most efficient infrastructure through the consolidation of electric grid assets, and the optimization of the tariff setting process. All this should ensure reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers in the Udmurt Republic.

"Effective grid management is a transparent investment policy, ensuring necessary investments in reconstruction and modernization of electric grid facilities. All this in the end will allow to reduce grid operation expenses, operating costs and, as a result, to limit tariff growth," said Head of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Brechalov. According to him, the conclusion of the agreement will contribute to overcoming the disparity in the management of the distribution grid complex and ensuring reliable electricity supply for all consumers.

"We have large-scale and labourious joint work with the Government of the Republic to consolidate and modernize electric grid facilities. It is very important that the leadership of the region and the head of the republic fully support us in this issue," said Oleg Isaev, General Director of IDGC of Centre, the managing company of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region.

"Already, the branch "Udmurtenergo" is ready to take over municipal and other electric grid facilities. IDGC of Centre and Volga Region and its managing company - IDGC of Centre - will provide all necessary assistance and support to Udmurt colleagues. It is important that both companies have significant experience of such work in the territories of their service area," stressed Oleg Isaev. He also said that the consolidation of grids is one of the priorities of the Strategy for the development of the country’s power grid and the key direction of the work of PJSC Rosseti and its subsidiaries, including IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region.
