Tverenergo’s power engineers shifted to a special operation mode

Due to deterioration of weather conditions, a special operating mode has been introduced at IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division. The Grid Control Centre of the branch records local power outages in Toropetsky, Andreapolsky, Zapadnodvinsky districts of the Tver region. The second wave of power outages in this area has been caused by a heavy snowfall, which damaged icy power transmission lines and falling trees from outside ROWs.

Currently, 23 crews of power engineers of Tverenergo are working on the elimination of power outages. Taking into account the forecasts, another 65 crews of the Smolensk, Voronezh, Orel, Yaroslavl, Kursk branches of the company have been sent to the Tver region by the decision of IDGC of Centre’s management.

For the period of emergency recovery work, 68 reserve power supplies have been sent to set a temporary circuit for supplying electricity to the territory of municipal entities.
