IDGC of Centre summarized the results of work on connection to electric grids in the first half of 2017. During this period, the company connected to the power grid a number of facilities that are important for the socio-economic development of its regions of activity (11 subjects of the Central Federal District).
Large amount of work was performed with regard to the supply of power to enterprises of the agro-industry. In the Tambov region IDGC of Centre has completed a large-scale project to create a grid infrastructure for the largest in the Central Federal District enterprises in growing and processing of poultry meat, created on the site of LLC "Tambov Turkey" and OJSC "Tokarevskaya Poultry Plant". The work was carried out within the framework of the concession agreement between IDGC of Centre and the administration of the Tambov region, which became the first example of public-private partnership in the power grid complex, signed in 2015. The "Tambov Turkey" facility with its production capacity of 50 thousand tons of turkey meat per year includes an incubator for 5.6 million annual eggs for hatching, four growing sites, nine fattening platforms, a feed mill with its capacity of 180 thousand tons per year, an elevator with its capacity of 90 thousand tons, and a processing shop. For its power supply, the power company constructed 180 km of 6-10 kV power lines and 19 transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV with a total capacity of 33.7 MVA. The main part of the complex’s facilities is already connected to the grids, one facility - fattening site No. 9 - will be connected as the construction is completed, planned for the end of 2017. To ensure the delivery of power to Tokarevskaya Poultry Plant with its capacity of 150 thousand tons of poultry IDGC of Centre put into operation the 110/10 kV substation "Factory" in 2016.
Specialists of the Tambov branch of IDGC of Centre in the first half-year also implemented grid connection of the first stage of the complex for growing and producing fish "Tambov Sturgeon". For this purpose, a power transmission line was constructed that connected the facility with the 35/10 kV substation "Gorelskaya". "Tambov Sturgeon" is the first in the region complex for breeding sturgeons. It is one of the priority projects of the agro-industrial complex of the region, which for the time being provides local producers only about 20% of their requirements for fish products. It is planned that, as a result, a full cycle of production will be set up there: from growing caviar to producing 50 tons of commercial fish per year.
IDGC of Centre connected to the grids a number of production sites of the agro-industry in the Lipetsk region as well. Among them there is a complex of preparation and storage of seed stock with productivity up to 20 thousand tons per year of LLC "Seed Global Technologies". At the plant, which is scheduled for launch in the autumn of 2017, seeds of high quality soy and peas will be prepared, in addition, they plan to process oil crops. The products will be sold in Russia and abroad. The power engineers of the Lipetsk branch of IDGC of Centre also provided in the first six months the supply of power to a poultry farm for growing turkeys with its capacity of 50,000 animals a year of LLC "Krivets-Bird", which supplies its products to the regions of the Central Federal District, a vegetable storehouse of the producer of cereal and vegetable LLC "AgroRegion" and a fattening farm of LLC "Cherkizovo-Pig".
In the Belgorod region the company provided grid connection of the greenhouse complex "Ermak" in Chernyansky district with its design capacity of up to 120 tons of vegetables, 6 million flowers and 10 tons of fruit a year, fattening sites and two sow farms of LLC "Belgorod Pork" in Prokhorovsky district, eleven buildings of floor housing of birds of "Belgrankorm" in Belgorodsky district. In the Tver region a pig-breeding facility with a completed production cycle of 270,000 pigs per year and a slaughter house with refrigerators of LLC "Coral" in Bezhetsky district were connected to the grids, as well as the construction of biological wastewater treatment of the breeding farm "Zavolzhskoye", part of the Top-25 largest pig farms of Russia. In the Smolensk region - livestock facilities of CJSC "Troparevo" (part of GC "Ostankino").
The Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre connected to the grids a facility for growing champignons of LLC "Mushroom Rainbow". The plant capacity is declared at 4 thousand tons of mushrooms a year, in the future it is planned to increase to 12 thousand tons per year, which will allow it to take a leading position in the domestic market of mushroom products.
The company in the first half of the year also made significant contribution to the implementation of projects in the field of housing construction, as well as in providing the regions with social and communal infrastructure. The Lipetsk branch of IDGC of Centre connected to the grids six high-rise buildings in the new neighbourhood "Yeletsky" in Lipetsk, a kindergarten in the neighbourhood "University" of the regional centre and the Culture and Leisure Centre in Dobrovsky district. The branch "Kostromaenergo" connected two multi-apartment apartment houses built in Manturovsky district under the regional program "Resettlement of citizens from dilapidated and emergency housing", and a children’s sports facility in Kostroma.
Yarenergo’s specialists provided electricity to 24 apartment buildings, a residential complex in micro-district No. 5 "Sokol" and a multifunctional centre with a swimming pool in Zavolzhsky district (all in Yaroslavl), a dormitory with cleaning facilities of the Krivetsky special boarding school for the elderly and disabled in Myshkinsky district and a universal sports stadium in the settlement of Schedrino. Their Bryansk colleagues – a sewage treatment plant in Bryansky district.
Power engineers of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre increased the reliability of power supply for the Space Communication Centre (SCC) "Dubna" - the largest space communications station in Russia. To connect to the grids of a backup power source of the SCC, they constructed about 13 kilometres of 10 kV overhead lines.
Fulfilling its obligations on timely connection to the grids of large industrial facilities and production sites, housing, small and medium-sized businesses, IDGC of Centre makes a significant contribution to the social and economic development of the regions of the Central Federal District.
