Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division continue to work on the grid connection of individual houses in the new neighbourhood "May" in the northern part of Tambov. Work is being carried out in the framework of implementation of the program of state support for families with many children in the Russian Federation, involving the allocation for them of free of charge land plots for individual housing construction and private plot activities. In total, since 2014 in the micro-district "May", which occupies an area of 364 hectares, about two thousand sites have been formed, more than 700 of them have been distributed according to the terms of the program.
Currently, the program participants, who has received land plots in "May", have filed more than three hundred applications for grid connection to the Tambov branch of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo. The work has been fully implemented under 236 applications, the rest are in various stages of execution. In the framework of power supply of facilities of the new micro-district power engineers installed 23 pole-mounted transformer substations with a total capacity of 2.3 MVA, constructed 45 km of overhead lines of 10/0.4 kV. 64.85 million rubles were spent on these purposes.
In addition to the residential houses, in the micro-district of "May" it is planned to build a kindergarten, a health centre and other social infrastructure facilities. More than two and a half thousand people will live there.
The north of Tambov is the most modern and dynamic part of the city, in recent years several large housing estates have been built there. Tambovenergo is actively involved in providing their electric grid infrastructure. Thus, experts of the enterprise carried out work on connection to electric networks of high-rise buildings, social facilities and two kindergartens in the micro-district "Cozy". The total connected capacity of the facilities was 12 MW.
The micro-district "May" is not the only joint project implemented by the power company and representatives of regional authorities in the Tambov region through targeted housing programs. In 2014 Tambovenergo’s specialists provided connection to electric networks of a new neighbourhood built in the village of Novopokrovka in Mordovsky district in the framework of the federal target program "Housing". Citizens reside in it, who lost their homes due to the hurricane that struck the region. 26 semi-detached and one triplex houses were built for them.
And in 2015 experts of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division performed connection to electric networks of the new micro-district, which was built in the village of Leninskoye in Kirsanovsky district of the Tambov region in the framework of a regional program to move people out of dilapidated housing. New settlers were residents of two-storey wooden houses with stove heating, built in the 30s of the last century - a total of 51 families.
