IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division summed up the work in 2016 on connection of customers to electric grids. During this period the company provided power delivery to a number of facilities significant for socio-economic development of the region.
The largest of these was the first phase of a new production facility of JSC "HMS Livgidromash" (included in the structure of the large machine building and engineering holding JSC "HMS Group"). This facility is an important element in the implementation of the Group’s large investment project "Localization of production of pumps for oil refining, as well as high power pumps for delivery of oil/oil products" aimed at solving state tasks on import substitution.
To support the development of regional agro-industrial facilities the power company provided the grid connection of a number of agricultural enterprises: LLC "Znamensky SGC", LLC "Cherkizovo-Crop" and LLC "Agro-industrial Company Kumir". Among socially important facilities connected in the past year to grids of the Orel branch of IDGC of Centre there are the office of the federal postal service in the Orel region-a branch of FSUE "Russian Post", municipal budgetary general education institution "Shakhovskaya Secondary School", a branch of the Hygiene and Epidemiology Centre in the Orel region in the city of Mtsensk.
In total, in 2016 Orelenergo fulfilled more than 3 thousand applications for grid connection with total capacity of over 110 MW, including power supply to 455 enterprises.
In 2017 the Orel branch of IDGC of Centre continues to be involved in the implementation of projects in the field of import substitution, support for agribusiness and food industry. Among the major requests that the company will perform in this period - the completion of the grid connection procedure of a grain warehouse of LLC "Orel-Agro-Produkt" in Kromsky district and connection to the grid of the second stage of the production facility of JSC "HMS Livgidromash". Confirming its status as one of the key development drivers of the Orel region, the Orel branch of IDGC of Centre makes a significant contribution to its socio-economic growth.
