Employee of the Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre received a government award

Vladimir Kirpichnikov, an electrician for repair of switchgear equipment of category 5 of the Southern section of the substations service of the high-voltage grid office of IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division, according to the Presidential Decree was awarded a second-class medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland. As stated in the document, the power engineer was awarded "for achievements in labour, social activities and many years of honest work".

Vladimir Kirpichnikov has been working at Kurskenergo for more than 35 years. All these years he has taken an active part in the implementation of programs aimed at improving the reliability of grids, enhancing the quality of electricity supply to consumers. He has made a significant contribution to the reconstruction of the region’s electric grid facilities, participated many times in work on elimination of consequences of technological failures. He has shown himself as a highly-qualified specialist with vast practical experience, which he transfers to younger colleagues.

During the hard work and high production indicators Vladimir Kirpichnikov repeatedly was encouraged by the leadership of the branch and the company. Twice, in 1997 and 2007, he was given the honorary title "Best worker in the profession" of Kurskenergo. In 2002 he was listed in the Hall of Fame of the enterprise. And in 2016 he received the Letter of Gratitude from IDGC of Centre.
