IDGC of Centre’s power engineers promptly eliminate the consequences of freezing rain in the Tver and Yaroslavl regions

IDGC of Centre’s power engineers continue restoring bad weather power supply interrupted in the Tver and Yaroslavl regions of Central Russia. By noon, the specialists of IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division restored electricity supply in 115 localities of the Tver region. The branch continues to maintain a special operation mode, carries out continuous monitoring of the situation.

At the moment Tverenergo’s power engineers around the clock in the Tver region are performing first responding and restoration operations, which involve 57 crews (164 people) and off-road vehicles. These include additional crews from neighbouring branches of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo, Kostromaenergo, Smolenskenergo have been involved to assist Distribution Zones with the largest number of outages.

In the Yaroslavl region 52 first responding and restoration and operating crews with a total number of 214 people are involved in the restoration operations. The crews have 69 units of necessary equipment. Additional forces and resources were sent to Uglichsky district from other Distribution Zones of Yarenergo.

IDGC of Centre’s power engineers are in constant interaction with local units of EMERCOM of Russia, representatives of contractors, as well as crisis management centres, functioning on the territory of municipalities. All work is coordinated by the Headquarters of the electric grid complex of PJSC "Rosseti".

IDGC of Centre’s experts predict a significant part of de-energized settlements will be energized with a normal circuit of power supply by the end of daylight.
