IDGC of Centre’s specialists took part in the seminar "Methods and software tools for analysis and planning of energy consumption and balance, calculation and valuation of electricity losses"

Some days ago IDGC of Centre’s experts took part in the seminar "Methods and software tools for analysis and planning of energy consumption and balance, calculation and valuation of electricity losses". The event was organized by Institute "Energosetproject", Journal "Energoexpert" with the participation of "Energostat" LLC and "Energoexpertservice" LLC supported by the Ministry of Energy of Russia and the PJSC "Rosseti".

The seminar was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Energy, the System Operator, energy systems and design organizations, representatives of the scientific community.

The participants discussed issues related to the valuation of electricity losses by the method of comparative analysis, the prospects of improving the method of calculation of technological electricity losses, considered approaches to the planning of electricity consumption and development schemes of power systems, as well as touched upon the topical issues of legal regulation and interaction of subjects of the energy market.

According to the head of the section of electricity balance forecasting, power and loss analysis of IDGC of Centre Pavel Stepanenko: "A wide range of participants and the selection of relevant topics of reports allowed to exchange views on a wide variety of issues and discuss possible ways of further development of the used in the sector approaches to the planning of electricity balances and valuation of electricity losses for power grid companies."
