IDGC of Centre joined the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #VmesteYarche, which started on 2 September in 75 regions of Russia. The festival is held in order to promote among the population a culture of sustainable use of natural resources and demonstrate advanced energy efficient technologies that are used in various sectors of the Russian economy.
The first thematic events were held in the majority of branches of the company. For example, in cities located in the service area of IDGC of Centre, for residents and visitors to the festival #VmesteYarche special "Boulevards of energy efficient technologies" were organized - sites where the company’s power engineers told visitors about modern methods of saving electricity, introduced them to the basic principles of energy saving in the home, allowing consumers to save funds of the family budget. Emphasis of the company’s experts was made on presentations on energy-efficient technologies and modern equipment, which IDGC of Centre uses at its power facilities in the Central Federal District.
The power engineers of IDGC of Centre paid much attention to children. As part of the festival the company planned to conduct additional lessons on energy saving in secondary schools of several regions of the Central Federal District. Quizzes, competitions, a physical and chemical show was prepared for children as street activities.
Guests of #VmesteYarche were invited to sign a petition in the field of electric power saving, thereby to make their first personal contribution to energy saving and energy efficiency.
IDGC of Centre actively supports projects related to the promotion of ideas of energy saving and energy efficiency. The company approved a single standard, which defines the main principles, objectives, target groups and communication channels to promote these issues.
IDGC of Centre’s power engineers do special work to promote energy-saving lifestyle among schoolchildren and preschoolers. On an ongoing basis IDGC of Centre’s specialists hold lessons on energy saving, trying to explain to children that the efficient use of energy resources not only contributes to significant cost savings, but also helps prolong the lifecycle of appliances.
Please, be reminded that the All-Russian Festival #VmesteYarche is held for the first time on the initiative of participants of the International Forum ENES-2015, which was supported by the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Rosmolodezh, the Ministry of Education of Russia, State Corporation "Fund of assistance to reforming housing and communal services", winners of the prize "Global Energy" and other youth and community organizations.
