30 August 2016

IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division completed connection to the electric grid of the first phase of a cottage settlement, being built in the village with of Bondarevka in Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. This project involves construction of rental housing for workers of Sudzhansky Maintenance Depot and agro-industrial enterprises in the region – the companies "Agrosil" and "Nadezhda".

In the first stage in the settlement there will be 46 houses built with a total area of 5,900 square metres. To provide their electricity supply Kurskenergo’s experts constructed a 10/0.4 kV transformer substation, 0.4 kV distribution networks with their length of about 1.5 kilometres and a section of a 10 kV overhead line with its length of 150 metres. As a result, at this stage the settlement has received 92 kW.

"Thanks to the close cooperation of power engineers of IDGC of Centre and the district administration, the competent organization of work, the power supply of the built houses was provided as soon as possible and in full. Kurskenergo’s experts once again confirmed their high level of professionalism," stressed, speaking at the opening ceremony of the first stage, the head of Sudzhansky district Nikolay Ilyin.

In the near future in the settlement the second stage of construction of 122 homes will start. To connect them to the grid Kurskenergo’s experts will construct more than three kilometres of power lines. The total customer contract demand of the whole settlement will be 332 kW.

This is not the only example of IDGC of Centre’s contribution to the implementation in the Kursk region of housing programs this year. So, until the end of the year the Kursk branch of the company is planning to connect to the grid five apartment buildings that are being built in the framework of the federal target program "Housing for Russian Family" in the third largest city of the region - Kurchatov. The supplied power to residential facilities will be 1,368 MW.
