22 August 2016

For 6 months of 2016 the volume of electricity transmitted over grids of IDGC of Centre amounted to 28.8 billion kWh, which is 304.4 million kWh higher than for the same period of 2015. The volume of rendered services on electric power transmission in the regions, where the company operates, was 27.9 billion kWh, which is 336.8 million kWh more than last year.

Actual losses of electric energy in the grids of IDGC of Centre in the first half of the year decreased by 0.04% to 9.24% of the supply to the grid, which in real terms amounted to 2,933.7 million kWh. The savings from the reduction of losses in monetary terms amounted to more than 25.0 million rubles.

"The observed increase in the efficiency of electricity supply in the grids of IDGC of Centre is mainly due to the growth of consumption of metallurgical enterprises located in the company’s service area, as well as the implementation of measures to reduce losses in the grids of its branches," stresses Head of the Department of Sales of Services of IDGC of Centre Andrey Bugorskiy.
