Leadership of the Kursk municipality thanks power engineers of IDGC of Centre for efficiency and professionalism in the aftermath of bad weather

9 August 2016 A letter of thanks was received from the head of the administration of Fatezhsky district of the Kursk region Sergey Gnezdilov in the address of Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky. The head of the district expresses his gratitude to Kurskenergo’s staff for the prompt restoration of power supply interrupted by bad weather in the second half of last month. Please, be reminded that in the night of 18 to 19 July 2016 on the territory of the Kursk region there was a powerful cyclone, accompanied by strong gusty winds, heavy rain, storm, leading to partial outages of some settlements in Fatezhsky district. First responding crews of Kurskenergo promptly proceeded to the elimination of broken overhead lines. They managed to eliminate consequences of the bad weather in less than a day. In the letter of thanks the head of the administration of Fatezhsky district notes clear coordination of all units of Kurskenergo while organizing the work on the restoration of power supply to consumers. "Thanks to the coordinated work of specialists Kurskenergo managed to avoid an emergency situation," says, in particular, the document.
