Team of IDGC of Centre takes part in the Inter-regional professional skills competitions organized by PJSC "Rosseti"

22 July at the training centre of PJSC "Lenenergo" (included in the Group "Rosseti") in the settlement of Tervolovo (Gatchina district of the Leningrad region) the Inter-regional professional skills competitions of personnel for repair and maintenance of substation equipment and cable grids opened. The competitions are held under the auspices of the action "Engineer Year 2016 - 2017" PJSC "Rosseti".

15 teams of companies from the Group PJSC "Rosseti", as well as the team of PJSC "Rosneft", OJSC "Oboronenergo" and State electricity production association of Belarus "Belenergo" are participating in these companies. Specialists of "Krymenergo" are invited as observers.

IDGC of Centre in the competitions is presented by the team headed by the Company’s Deputy Chief Engineer for Operations Anton Gerasimov. It includes representatives of Smolensk and Belgorod branches of the Company.

The participating teams will go to the start of competitive stages on 24 July, they will end competing on 28 July. Also as part of the competitions, together with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, the federal stage of the All-Russian professional skills contest "Best in Profession" will be held. Together with the Union "Agency of development of professional communities and workers Worldskills Russia" the Corporate Open Championship under the International Worldskills procedure was organized.

26-28 July at the training centre in Tervolovo there will be an exhibition-forum "Modern trends in the distribution grid complex". It will display Russian and foreign electrical equipment manufacturers, as well as special-purpose vehicles, machines and mechanisms. There will be workshops and round tables on the themes of development and increase of efficiency of functioning of electric grid facilities.

Under the auspices of the exhibition and forum PJSC "Lenenergo" will hold a conference with partner institutions dedicated to training staff for electric grid companies. Technical experts will take part in round tables and panel discussions on comprehensive development of power grids, transition to a digital substation and creation of infrastructure for electric vehicles in St. Petersburg. Guests of the exhibition will be able to watch a test drive of special vehicles and a demonstration flight of unmanned aerial vehicles.

The ceremony of awarding winners of the competitions will be held on Friday, July 29th.
