Governor of the Tver region thanked IDGC of Centre for the successful operation through the autumn-winter period of 2014/2015

Tver Region Governor Andrey Shevelev in his letter addressed to General Director of IDGC of Centre Oleg Isaev noted that IDGC of Centre is implementing a consistent policy of improving the quality of electricity supply with the growing needs of the economy and the social sector. In particular the staff of the Tver branch did great work on the development of grid infrastructure, reduction of losses, ensuring the stable and safe operation of the power system. These measures allowed greatly to reduce the number of unplanned electricity outages in the region. As a result the autumn-winter season passed in the Tver region without failures, in a normal operation mode.

To ensure reliable power supply to consumers, social and industrial facilities in the region from January to December 2014 Tver power engineers renovated 1,439 km of power lines of 0.4-110 kV. 27 substations (SS) of 35-110 kV were overhauled, including the SS 110/35/10kV NPS Borisovo, the SS 110/35/10kV Ostashkov, and the SS 110/35/10kV Andreapol.

The total number of unplanned outages of equipment of electric grid of the branch was reduced by 38.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Much attention was paid to the implementation of the repair program. According to the results of the annual implementation of the plan, the amount of clearing ROWs of Tverenergo was 4,797.7 ha.

The branch used more than 62 million rubles to repair motor vehicles and machinery, industrial and office buildings, means of supervisory control as well as relay protection and automation devices. On the eve of the autumn-winter operation period the branch fully implemented the Targeted program for improving reliability of equipment.

The key to successful operation through the autumn-winter peak loads was qualified, responsible work of operating and maintenance personnel, as well as the implementation in the preparatory period of the scope of planned repairs of the main and auxiliary equipment. Tver power engineers coped with the tasks and ensured reliable power supply to consumers of the Tver region in the autumn-winter period.
