The first meeting of the Consumer Council of IDGC of Centre will be held on October 25 in Moscow

The meeting will discuss topical issues of interaction with customers, issues of implementation of energy efficiency activities.

The Consumer Council of services is a joint expert body that represents interests of all groups of consumers, public associations and organizations of the business community. The Consumer Council of IDGC of Centre was established August 2, 2014.

The Consumer Council of IDGC of Centre includes representatives of regional public associations, including departments of «OPORA Russia», Bryansk Regional Association of Industrial and Commercial Enterprises (employers), Yaroslavl Regional Public Organization «Union of Young Entrepreneurs», a number of large industrial consumers of electricity in the company’s service area — MC «Metalloinvest», LLC «Plant of oils Ertilsky» (Voronezh region), a branch of OJSC «MTS» in Tambov, OJSC «Energy Retail Company» from the special economic zone «Lipetsk», etc., as well as of regional executive authorities supervising energy issues.

Important areas of the Council’s work will be optimization and coordination of activities of branches of IDGC of Centre with consumers, as well as increasing information transparency of the company.

The main functions of the Consumer Council will be the formation of expert opinions on the areas of IDGC of Centre’s activity, as well as suggestions and recommendations, including improving the legal framework regulating the relationship of subjects of the electric power industry.

The Consumer Council of services under IDGC of Centre was set up to carry out instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, issued during the St. Petersburg International Forum in June 2013.
