The IV Summer Games of IDGC of Centre have finished

Today, August 9, the IV Summer Games of IDGC of Centre ended and their closing ceremony was held.

The winner of the competition as for the number of points was the team of IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division. Second place in the team competition was taken by representatives of Smolenskenergo, and bronze medalists of the Games were power engineers from Belgorod.

For the first time in the history of the Games the best athletes received awards — Alexander Nosov from the team of Voronezhenergo was named «Outstanding Volleyball Player», and Igor Drozdov, the captain of the soccer team of Kurskenergo was distinguished as «Outstanding Soccer Player». The special prize «Will to Win» was given to Igor Korovin, a representative of the Executive Office, who, in spite of a leg injury, could overcome his athletics distance to the end.

«The Summer Sports Games have become our most noticeable and important event of the summer,» said the captain of the winning team Evgeny Novikov. «On heat of combat, emotions and impressions these events were a real treat!»

After the solemn event there was a fiery performance of cheerleaders.
