General Director of IDGC of Centre Dmitry Gudzhoyan and Governor of the Belgorod region Evgeny Savchenko discussed the development of the region's electric grid

A working meeting of General Director of IDGC of Centre Dmitry Gudzhoyan and Governor of the Belgorod region Evgeny Savchenko took place in Belgorod. During the talks the parties discussed the investment program of IDGC of Centre in the territory of the Belgorod region, the prospects for further development of the electric distribution grid complex of the region, outlined a plan of joint actions in the area of energy efficiency improvement of the regional economy and development of “smart grids”.

The parties summed up the investment program for 2011 and approved the list of facilities for new construction and renovation in 2012. This year, IDGC of Centre in the territory of the Belgorod region plans to upgrade equipment at 28 substations of 35-110 kV, to construct power grids to connect sites in the districts of individual housing, industrial and agricultural facilities of the region.

Governor of the Belgorod region and General Director of IDGC of Centre discussed possibilities of joint implementation in the territory of the Belgorod region specific projects in the development of “smart grids” based on the use of energy-saving and energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy sources.

As part of his working visit to Belgorod General Director of IDGC of Centre Dmitry Gudzhoyan met with the team of IDGC of Centre — Belgorodenergo division and get acquainted with the work results of Belgorod power engineers.
