Alexandr Pilyugin, deputy general director – director of the branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC — “Kurskenergo”, is the winner of the contest “Manager of the year — 2009”

The All-Russian contest “Manager of the year” organized by the International academy of management and Free economic society of Russia has been determining management elite of the country and detecting efficient management model of enterprises and organisations during 12 year.

The contest is held in two stages. This year senior managers of industrial enterprises, banks, insurance and investment companies, enterprises of service and trade sphere, social institutions of the country have competed in 21 nominations. When estimating contestants organisators paid attention firstly to stability and financial capability of enterprises where nominees were employed.

Alexandr Pilyugin had strong lead at the first stage that was held in Kursk and he was promoted to the All-Russian contest by the regional division of Free economic society of Russia. Recognition of the Director of the branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC – “Kurskenergo” as the best manager of the country in “Power industry” nomination is testimony to the fact that Kursk power engineers of IDGC of Centre fulfill tasks on reliable power supply of consumers in good faith and create firm basis for social and economic development of Kursk region.

In different years representatives of Kurskenergo have already won in “Electric power industry” nomination at the regional level. Valery Bondarenko, Deputy Director for development and implementation of services of the branch, Ivan Eshtokin, Chief of Production division “Central power grids”, Lubov Loktionova, Chief accountant, were pronounced  the leaders of management in their industry in Kursk region.

Oleg Tolkachev, Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the academician of the Russian Academy of the Natural Sciences, who was presiding the jury of the contest, noted: “The civil society can survive economic disturbances properly only if its development is determined and directed by intellectual, responsible persons, who support the prospect, and winners of the contest “Manager of the year” are such kind of people.
